Ashtanga Yoga Instructor

Pia’s yoga journey started during her last year of dance studies. Feeling over-stressed she was motivated to find a way to improve flexibility, mobility as well as discomfort/pain.

She began attending hot yoga classes in Dundee. She found everything she was looking for and an awful lot more! After graduating her dance studies(Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, Dundee) Pia continued her yoga practice. She had a wonderful teacher who encouraged her and inspired her to develop her understanding of yogic principles. Pia undertook her teacher training on the Thai island of Koh Phanan. She broadened her knowledge and mastered her practice in vinyasa yoga (a relatively fast, flowing style), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.

Pia now wants to share her passion and love for yoga with others. Her aim is to create a beautiful environment for growth, acceptance and openness for every individual. A phrase that resonates and describes Pia’s approach to teaching is ”Breathing through the poses and watching how the body opens” Keith Allen Yoga classes taught in Polish! A brand new concept in Livingston. First class FREE!!! Pia’s classes are every Wednesday (9.30-10.30 am) and Friday (6.00-7.00pm) at Choose You Yoga, Carmondean. Pia will blend different elements of yoga including vinyasa flow, deep stretches and mindful breathing techniques. Each of these class aspects are important to a full holistic practice. All levels are very welcome, beginners as well as experienced students. First class is completely free!! Thereafter classes will be £8 each or £28 for a block of 4 classes. Classes are 60 minutes.
